We are looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for helping people to join our fast-paced operations team. We are entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual ideas and strategies.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Customer Service representative’s coverage of customer shipment program. Search for available equipment to cover customer shipments. Check Tableau system daily to validate empty and loaded equipment in the area. Validate with carriers the equipment meets all customer requirements to load. Coordinate with carriers’ pick-ups and deliveries of shipments. Answer customer and carrier emails and calls. Update contracts through internal system. Ensure to close contracts on a timely manner. Validate contract rates before closing contracts. Coordinate and plan with department peers to effectively and efficiently dispatch the company’s resources. Handle customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Update customer web portals with up-to-date load information. Monitor and update shipment statuses on the company’s internal applications. Analyze resource utilization and generate reports as needed.

Shift availability: 6:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday (alternate weekends)

Requirements

Fluent English is a must. 4+ years of experience in similar role or account management experience in transportation and logistics field is preferred. College or university degree in Business-related field is required. Previous experience working with American/Mexican carriers is an asset. Ability to understand the business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize creative solutions to implement them. Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals is an asset. Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills. Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability. Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment.
