KEM Energía Constructora is currently seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join our team. As a Mechanical Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical aspects of construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with specifications and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage all mechanical activities on the project, including equipment installation, piping, HVAC, and other mechanical systems
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and implement construction plans and schedules
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Oversee the testing, commissioning, and startup of mechanical systems
  • Resolve any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of project progress
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other external partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction, with a focus on mechanical systems
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and construction methods
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other construction-related software
  • Knowledge of construction codes and safety protocols
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
