What awaits you?
• Maintaining and optimizing logistics software operations to support material flow, production scheduling, goods receiving, sequencing, and inventory control.
• Troubleshooting and resolving software issues: You will identify root causes, develop solutions, and ensure compliance with logistics processes, BMW Group local plant targets, and global requirements.
• Managing a dynamic production schedule: You will develop effective strategies to control the flow of materials and proactively address any potential problems.
• Leading system changes and implementations: Coordinate systems testing, developments, and structural changes within the Physical Logistics area.
• Ensuring data integrity: You will conduct regular audits, identify and address data discrepancies, and work to maintain accurate records.
• Acting as a Key User: Represent the Logistics department in IT matters by developing work instructions, training other users, and approving system access requests and business change requirements.
What you should bring along?
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics engineering, Computer Sciences or related.
• 2+ experience of Logistics processes
• Expert in SAP WM
• Excellent knowledge and experience of developing and managing complex systems, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Experienced with data analysis and KPI reporting.
• Systematics problem solving techniques.
• Teamwork.
• Project management.
• English Advanced.
