About the role
ZEXP is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE) to help us advance our mission of enabling our product and engineering teams to conduct experiments with improved velocity, quality, and methods while reducing costs and improving overall impact.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of dedicated engineers and scientists to research, design, and develop user interfaces for a diverse range of features within our internal tool. You will also work closely with other specialists to spec out and develop APIs necessary for new features or to extend/optimize existing functionalities.
Together, we'll enable users across Zillow to iterate, test, and learn about improvements shipped to production, driving a culture of experimentation and powering innovation in our Housing Super-App.

En este puesto, colaborará estrechamente con un equipo de ingenieros y científicos dedicados a investigar, diseñar y desarrollar interfaces de usuario para una amplia gama de funciones dentro de nuestra herramienta interna. This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

You are a proactive engineer and creative problem solver, adept at designing and implementing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. You thrive on working as part of a team, sharing your expert knowledge of UI/UX development with your peers, while also continuously learning from those around you.
Qualifications:
Proficiency with front-end technologies and frameworks (experience in Vue.js and React is highly desirable) Strong understanding of modern UX principles and design thinking; UX design tools (Figma, etc.) experience is a plus Ability to influence, collaborate with, and educate others on methods and requirements in experimentation concepts Experience collaborating with applied scientists, engineers, product managers, and end usersNice to haves:
API design (Python) and development using a relational DB (Postgres or similar) Experience with online experimentation (A/B testing, Bandit testing, etc.) Practical knowledge of statistics Experience establishing standards and/or educating technical and non-technical stakeholders on meeting those standards An advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering, a related field, or years of equivalent industry experience.Transferable Skills:
