Responsible for performing extensive preventative maintenance, repair procedures, building, equipment, machinery, grounds, and other company facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsabilities
Performs independently preventative maintenance work on all equipment Assists in special projects for maintenance Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from manager. Maintains and repairs plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, faucets, dispensers, and fountains Operating a variety of mechanical tools and equipment such as drills, air compressors, paint sprayers, sewer augers, and various hand tools required for carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance skills Maintains all records related to all vendors, jobs, quotes, and equipment Performs custodial related duties necessary to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions of buildings and grounds Inspects facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented Advises and/or responds to emergencies on a 24-hour basis as needed Manages inventory of hand tools and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements
HS Diploma or GED Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field of general maintenance and repairs, including at least 3 years’ experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical repair and air conditioning Forklift certification Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Safety and Security — Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, regulations, and strategies to promote a safe environment.
