Responsibilities: This function covers incumbents responsible for various data activities, which include database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or database architecture / design engineering Responsible for routine operational or administrative work Day-to-day actions are focused on administering defined procedures, analyses and report preparation Individuals will have their work thoroughly reviewed and checked by more senior incumbents and will have limited contact outside their immediate area Daily deliverable of routine and defined outputs, while at the same time developing knowledge of the broader context in which the work is being performed Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications: 2-5 years relevant experience Ability to think strategically and the ability to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives Know-how on analytic tools (SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, SPSS etc.) Big data and machine learning experiences are (R, Python etc.)
Education: Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

Job brief
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst accountable for maximizing the value of our Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions by enhancing the current technological features, business strategy, design, development, controls and self-service workflows. The responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to empower business users and manage product releases through best-practices. Ultimately, you’ll help us roll-out products and deliver innovative strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap. Team leader able to define epics, features and tasks with agile methodologies. Analyzes business requirements and translates them into high-level design. Clearly articulates rationale for decisions from business to technical. Design, develop, and deliver ad-hoc dashboards using BI tools, such as Tableau and Cognos. Define quality criteria for data presentation in BI platforms. Work with business teams of BI and Data professionals across the organization. Collaborates within the technical teams such as Data Architects, Data Modelers, ETL Developers, BI Developers, Project Managers, and Platform Architects. Define self-service flows and strategies to improve the BI platform adoption. Create and support the BI documentation. Lead meetings and working sessions to solve issues, challenges and risks by factoring input from partners and diverse points of view. Facilitates meetings with decision makers, technology owners, vendors, and end users to define goals and requirements. Coach or mentor direct team members and indirect team members. Keep track of new BI industry trends.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related discipline. Desired: Knowledge in any BI tools or academic background in data analytics environment. Familiarity with agile is a plus. In-depth understanding of financial models, knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and how to apply the techniques to drive substantial business results. Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle. Technical background with familiarity in relevant data technologies structured/unstructured databases, data modeling, data management, rapid/iterative development methodologies and data governance tools; preferrable having worked with Teradata, Oracle, Cloudera stack and in enterprise BI tools such Tableau and Cognos. Experience designing and supporting self-service development workflows for user management. Strong knowledge of delivering high-level standardized analytics across all areas in the organization, with specialized reporting solutions per area, including general management. Proven strong presentation skills, business and technical writing and verbal communication skills to support decision-making and actions. Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex data flows and designs. Team spirit and strong communication abilities. Excellent relationship management, communication and presentation skills. Strong English skills (desirable).------------------------------------------------------
