SDE Mechanical Parts

A leading international company in the automotive sector, specialising in the development and manufacturing of advanced electronic solutions to optimise vehicle performance and efficiency.

The main responsibilities in this role are:

Support R&D, Project Buyer and Development Team in Supplier selection of new buy components and ensure the implementation of Commodity state of the art and best in class standards/practice requirements in supplier processes through the application of Commodity Quality Check List. You will also need to apply the APQP Lessons Learned
and support and act as SQE. You will be working with mechanical parts commodity.

The main requirements are:

• + 5 years in automotive industry.
• Advanced English.
• Familiar with error proofing, gauge & tool design, gage R&R, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances).
• Knowledge of Quality Norm IATF 16949, Core Tools, Quality, Environmental and safety requirements.
• Travel availability (30-50%)

Not required but desirable:

• Qualified Auditor according to VDA 6.3 is preferred.
