Become part of our highly motivated team at the San Luis Potosi site and participate in the further expansion of internal plant engineering at our international locations. Work with us to build production systems for car body construction, electric drives (high-voltage storage and electric motor) and other technologies.

What awaits you?


• You will operate the VPS and work organization training program for the team, developing and implementing training programs on the VPS system and work organization best practices. You will also manage the VPS turbine, VPS expert qualification, PDCA training, and other qualification trainings for the new project.
• In addition to the above, you will also verify the VPS maturity and adherence in the direct and indirect areas of the battery plant, consult the technologies on CIP projects, conduct inter-technology CIP projects as Project Lead, and maintain an international network with BMW Group stakeholders.
• Overall, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation and operation of the VPS system in the new battery plant.

What you should bring along?

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in maintaining highly automated production lines and planning maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing company.
• Advanced automotive knowledge acquired at an OEM in assembly, paint shop, and body shop.
• Advanced knowledge of continuous improvement methods (6 Sigma, Toyota production system).
• Experience working in the automotive industry, preferably multinational.
• 5+ years of experience in a production environment at an automotive OEM company.
• 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement areas.
• Excellent knowledge of IT applications.
• Analytical thinking, self-initiative, and understanding of organizational culture.
• Fluent written and spoken business English.
