As a Kiewit Electrical Designer, you will work alongside our construction and engineering professionals on a wide range of projects in various industries, including transportation, oil, gas and chemical, power, building, water/wastewater, industrial, and mining.

Responsibilities
  • Work with project teams to develop electrical system designs
  • Develop project specifications and requirements for electrical systems
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure specifications are met and materials are delivered on time
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical system issues during the construction phase
  • Ensure all designs comply with company and industry standards and regulations
  • Ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
  • Participate in design reviews and meetings with clients and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience designing electrical systems
  • Knowledge of electrical industry standards and regulations
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
