We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable data infrastructure and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of data systems. This is a great opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the success of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable data infrastructure and solutions
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement data solutions
  • Implement data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through data cleansing and validation processes
  • Implement and maintain data governance and security measures
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure availability and reliability
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and address data-related issues and requirements
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering or any related roles
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles
  • Strong programming skills in Python and DBT
  • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data services.
  • Knowledge of data integration techniques (e.g., ETL, data pipelines)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
