[IM] IT Storage

An important aviation company is looking for its next Storage & Backup Engineer. This company has a presence in more than 60 countries.

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Operations Manager, the IT Storage & Backup L2 Engineer is tasked with maintaining the IT Storage & Backup environment along with other infrastructure components. This role will serve as a support and maintenance hub for the entire Storage & Backup product line and any related matters. The optimal candidate will collaborate closely with the Senior Systems Engineer for Storage & Backup.

• Associate’s Degree in information technology or equivalent.
• Understanding of complex enterprise IT Infrastructure landscapes.
• Deep technical expertise and understanding of systems, and operational level requirements in multiple infrastructure disciplines with focus on the responsible subject matter.

Work Experience:

• Experience of working with multiple third-party vendors, strong customer focus.
• Microsoft 365 & Active directory
• Experience with working in the aviation industry or food services spaces is a plus.
• Experience with structuring complex problems and delivering insights and recommendations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse groups and senior-level management.
• Possession of excellent strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills.
• Be very detail oriented and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.
• Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the installation and configuration of Enterprise Class Data Protection infrastructures.
• 2-3 years enterprise backup technology experience (Apex, Veeam, others).
