Location: Remote (EST Timezone)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM EST
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Data Scientist / Data Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for building and analyzing databases to extract meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Development: Design, implement, and maintain databases to store and organize large volumes of structured and unstructured data efficiently.
- Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Collect raw data from various sources and perform cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation to ensure data integrity and usability.
- Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods and data analysis techniques to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and generate actionable insights.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics, such as regression analysis, clustering, classification, and time series forecasting.
- Data Visualization: Create clear and insightful data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and dashboards, to communicate findings and facilitate understanding for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, software developers, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements, provide analytical support, and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and analytics techniques, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Excel and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
