About the role
·Coordinate and provide input in technical reports
·Develop process deliverables including process design criteria, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing, mass and energy balances according to Ausenco Standards.
·Lead process engineering teams within Ausenco to deliver complete process engineering work packages on complex projects.
·Contribute to the delivery of multidiscipline engineering design by liaising with other engineering disciplines during the preparation of engineering designs and studies.
·Demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate technical issues with clients
·Gather measurements, record observations, perform calculations and basic analysis, and prepare reports for projects and trade-off studies.
·Comply with relevant business management system (or quality) policies & procedures.
·Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation and with clients.
Expected to stay abreast of latest process technology developments
About you
You are a proven strategic business partner looking for your next challenge and can offer the following skills and experience:
·Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
·Experience with studies and projects in a consulting engineering capacity
·5 - 10 years of solid experience working with mineral processing combined with study delivery (scoping, pre-feasibility, feasibility, trade-offs, basic and detail engineering).
·Experience in metallurgical test work, operations and maintenance will be an asset for the successful candidate.
·Experience with concentrator and hydrometallurgical plant design (greenfield and brownfield projects) – for a wide range of minerals and metals: copper, gold/silver and polymetallic ores.
·Experience in the field of engineering, design, construction, commissioning and operation.
·Ability to effectively translate field and engineering experience to other process staff and design
·Strong analytical skills.
·Well-developed written and oral skills in both English and Spanish is a must
·Demonstrated initiative and ingenuity in providing engineering solutions.
·Willingness to travel when required to Canada and USA
