This role will be responsible for leading the planning team and process across the Regional business which includes creating, phasing and maintaining a 24-month rolling consensus forecast in collaboration with internal partners such as Sales, Marketing, Finance and Management teams. 

 

The main goal is to maximize sales and service levels to our accounts, while minimizing inventory and obsolescence. This role will also provide brand & category oversight for demand shaping and be a key driver of evaluating and suggesting process improvements and efficiencies in demand planning process & capabilities

Key Deliverables:

  • Lead a high-performing team of Demand Planning Managers delivering an accurate demand plan for the regional business, utilising the agreed planning methodologies & systems, baselining & enriching consumer demand to deliver an unconstrained rolling forecast.
  • Lead, develop and retain talent through development, coaching and engagement. Provide guidance, direction, development planning and performance feedback in accordance with Hasbro’s Career Management Processes
  • Collaborate extensively with partners (Sales, Marketing, Global planning, Supply Chain...) throughout the region & wider global network to sense & shape demand, driving rigour & discipline in assumptions definition
  • Lead Demand Review processes leading to the sign-off of the unconstrained rolling forecast by market commercial leads
  • Partnering global brand owners to ensure effective communication with Market Group demand planning ensuring top down strategies are understood within region whilst also providing the Market Group demand planners with clarity of key initiatives across the full forecasting horizon
  • Participate in regional and global forums
  • Work in close relationship with the Global IBP Owner utilising S&OP tools to be able to bring guidelines / targets to the commercial function across the region
  • Drive continuous improvement across Demand planning
  • Drive S&OP cycles, to improve the meetings effectiveness, assess efficiency of S&OP activities and identify areas of improvements (on process, people, tools and data)
  • Working knowledge of in country commercial & supply chain processes including order fulfilment, demand management, S&OP, master data and life-cycle management.

 

Team Management

  • Lead and manage the Demand Planning team across the region to ensure they have the skill sets, resources and support needed to deliver in their role and achieve objectives. Ensure that they operate in a manner consistent with the Hasbro values.
  • Effectively develop and retain talent to meet current and future business needs.
  • Make training, coaching, or mentoring available to develop talent.
  • Confident and committed to developing team members, providing constructive feedback and growth opportunities.

 

 

 

DEMAND PLANNING DIRECTOR 

Skills & Knowledge

  • BS/BA in Supply Chain, Science 15 years’ experience.
  • Excellent understanding of the Toy/FMCG industry & In-Country Commercial & supply chain needs strongly preferred
  • 5+ years experience of managing Commercial operations, Planning delivery, sales order fulfilment and issue resolution with customers
  • Working knowledge of in country commercial operation & supply chain processes including order fulfilment, demand management, S&OP, master data and life-cycle management.
  • APICS/ASCM CPIM and CSCP accreditations preferred.
  • Demonstrated change management and process management experience is preferred
  • Fluent in English
