We are looking for an experienced Finance / Accountant for the Controller position in Mexico (Ramos Arizpe Coahuila), for Sales Unit.

Maintain controls (cost controls, analysis of variances, and productivity follow-up), records, and accounts that will serve to safeguard company assets and provide information for reports.Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.Formulate, document, recommend and implement changes that streamline processes, methods, and procedures that will improve the efficiency of the Finance Department, and its interaction with other departments. Includes preparing flowcharts, narratives, and desk procedures for self and staff.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the general ledger, accounts payable, fixed asset and other related financial software k necessary in-house technical assistance to accomplish same. Includes assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies and practices of the urate and timely payments of vendor invoices and other properly approved disbursementsFollow up, analysis and clear explanations and comments regarding actual results, forecasts and targets Support profitability analysis Preparation and validation of business cases and investment proposals Driver of improvements in both reporting and forecasting accuracy Consolidation and on time reporting of actual, forecast and target results Joint responsibility with Financial Control for a standardized reporting, forecast and target process Support Performance Management process, including KPI development and implementation Driver of Net Working Capital efficiency and overall business performance Provide tools for a standardized way of working within Business Control Provide administration support of Finance IT tools in day to day operations and as Finance representative for future developments

Background, experiences and knowledge of the preferred candidate

Location Ramos Arizpe CoahuilaBachelor’s Degree in Accounting. MBApreferred.Minimum of five years industrial accounting experience, or equivalent, with supervisory responsibilities preferred.Lead financial roll in an ERP implementation strongly preferred.Processes a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Internal Accounting Standards (IAS).100% Bilingual Spanish-english, good oral and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office & on-line financial software systems.
