The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Product Owner/Engineer to join our team. As a Product Owner/Engineer at rocket code, you will play a critical role in driving the development and delivery of our reinsurance technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to define and prioritize product requirements, create user stories, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into product features and user stories.
- Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
- Work closely with development teams to refine product requirements, resolve questions, and help clarify technical specifications.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Validate and accept completed user stories, ensuring they meet the intended business objectives and quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market needs to identify areas of improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Product Owner, Product Engineer, or similar role.
- Desirable understanding of the insurance/reinsurance market and related technology solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies like Scrum.
- Experience with project management tools and software development lifecycle processes.
