The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
 

Minimum experience of 3 years."in Administration of enterprise linux distributions Redhat and open versions

Administration of linux Redhat, Ubuntu, Debian and Suse

* HA cluster administration.

 HA cluster administration (pacemaker and Hawk)

 Knowledge of linux administration on x86, power(ppcle) and mainframe(s390x) architectures.  Extensive knowledge of bash scripting  Patch click management and automations with Redhat Satellite and puppet  Thorough understanding of DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP protocols  User and permissions management  LVM and LVM-mirror administration  Monitoring with zabbix, grafana, dynatrace, nagios.  Upgrade of rhel 7, 8 and 9 distributions. Debian and other linux.  Hardening of operating system and native services (http, sendmail, nfs, samba, etc).  DNS configuration (bind)  Disk RAID knowledge  Knowledge of cloud in AWS and GCP  SSH tunneling and reverse proxy knowledge  Multipathing and disk management  Security policy implementation using OpenSCAP  RHCSA, RHCE or LPIC certifications are preferred. Scripting languages (PowerShell, bash, python)
