Objective of job
- Design and manage projects that satisfy the company´s objectives, guaranteeing the improvement of functionality and constant innovation
- Provide input and direction in the sourcing, design, construction, ECR´s , and launch of new tools, fixtures for future programs and current on serial production.
- Assist Tool-Room / Tool Shop staff in solving problems arising from production processes, tool tryouts, ECR´s and launching of new programs.
Principle activities
- Provide details for parts, taking into account functional and installation issues
- Support to estimate, schedule and execute all engineering changes of tooling, cost savings, etc.
- Support to Program Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance departments to ensure timely try-out and phase in periods to meet production schedule requirements or customers delivery dates.
- Advance knowledge: CNC, AutoCAD, Top Solid, CATIA, Tebis.
- Advance knowledge: CAD/CAM, SolidWorks, CMM programing
Job requirements
- Specialist knowledge: Bachelor Degree
- Education: 5 years or more of experience.
- Language: English Advanced Level
- Experience:
- Knowledge and Skills: PLM, CNC code programming (e.g. Heidenhain), CNC control (e.g. Heidenhain), Knowledge of steel, polishes and finishes, Risk Analisis, Knowledge in Molds, Hot Runners, Machining Conventional/CNC, Design, Welding, Study and design, for engineering changes in injection molds, Strong Knowledge on use of CNC, Drawings interpretation, CNC Programing lenguaje.
