Role Overview

We are looking for an adept IoT Engineer to join our team based in Mexico City. This role will encompass a hybrid working environment, combining onsite office work with the flexibility of remote work. You will ideally have a strong background in Python programming, robust knowledge of IoT/IIoT protocols, tools, technologies, and deployment strategies. Additionally, this position involves occasional travel throughout the LATAM region to collaborate with clients, requiring a dynamic, adaptable, and client-oriented approach.

Responsibilities:

Utilize and manage cutting-edge IoT tools and technologies, such as MQTT Broker (EMQX, Mosquitto), eKuiper, Neuron, and OPC-UA Servers (Kepware, Prosys).

Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, K3S, Rancher, including deployment protocols using Yaml, Helm, and Kubectl.

Design IoT & Edge solutions tailored to the CPG/Beverage industry, focusing on device registration, management, security, and the selection and deployment of edge hardware.

Implement Azure services like Azure IoT Edge, Azure IoT Central, and Azure Industrial IoT Framework for innovative and scalable IoT solutions.

Lead deployment efforts using CI/CD practices and Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless and efficient deployment of IoT solutions.

Develop IoT device interactions and backend services in Python, emphasizing secure, efficient, and industry-specific applications.

Qualifications:

Have a minimum of at least 6-8 years of experience in the IoT space and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Demonstrated experience with IoT/IIoT protocols and a comprehensive understanding of the IoT ecosystem, preferably within the CPG/Beverage industry.

Proficient in IoT tools and technologies, with significant experience in deploying and managing IoT solutions.

Solid experience with containerization technologies and edge computing, including an emphasis on device security and management.

Familiarity with Azure IoT services and proven ability in cloud-based IoT solution development and deployment.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and strategic deployment, ideally within Azure DevOps.

Proficient programming skills in Python, with a portfolio showcasing IoT-related applications.

Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a client-focused approach, with readiness for occasional travel within the LATAM region.
