Visión general

Manage projects (NPD. Product/Cost Improvement, Product Transfers) to meet the product
and project objectives.Establish process controls for NPD projects that ensure we reach product specifications, target yields, cost, and quality.Act as a key link between Engineering US, Operations team, quality teams, and process teams to properly introduce new products into the manufacturing plants.

Utilize continuous improvement solutions and six sigma methodologies to drive product
improvements.

Create Standard Operating procedures for NPD and existing products


Responsabilidades

This role is responsible for managing projects within our Industrialization process for Chinaware New Product Development (NPD) within our manufacturing facilities. The Project Engineer will also be responsible for supporting existing products as quality or manufacturing issues related to design arise. The engineer will need to work closely with the operations, quality, and process teams during these projects. The engineer will be responsible for creating the necessary documentation to hand over the product to operations. They will need to
drive the definition of processes, implementation of best practices and fundamentals, and perform root cause analysis to identify potential problems that need to be solved to increase the product efficiency and performance.


Requisitios

Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Preferable degrees would be in Chemical, Industrial  Interpretation of control charts, process capability (Cp and Cpk). Ceramic, Materials or Mechanical disciplines 2 - 3 or more years of experience working in a related position. Must speak fluent English Advanced Statistics (8Ds, 5 Whys, brainstorming, Pareto charts, histograms) Lean Manufacturing experience Experience writing PFMEAs Six Sigma certification
