About the role

Location: Cuatro Cienegas or Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico (Onsite Work)

This role drives accountability on the performance of manufacturing (production) and Supply Chain. It is the strategic finance business partner to Global Manufacturing, Finance & Regional leadership team. The role provides financial analysis, insight into underlying performance. The role sits ‘at the table’ with the Sub-Regional Leadership team and global manufacturing leadership team.

What you will be doing

Finance (core) 75%

Accountable for control of profit and loss, visibility and insight into underlying profit centre financial performance
Ensures costs are properly accounted for and works with cost centre owners to analysis
Provide decision support including analysis of any strategic options
Develop the operational plans into financial budgets annually and assists in plans to deliver the plan
Develop operational financial forecast montly/quarterly, including estimate of cost to prodcue (CPU)
Ensures Management understands monthly performance reporting including key drivers and variance from plan and forecast
Analyze & understand cost to produce (CPU) to drive cost or process efficiency improvements
Work with the Supply Chain to identify plans and actions to appropriately manage risks (inventory, transportation & procurement)
Provide oversight on standard cost working with Supply Chain to validate BOM’s are completed & validate
Analysis the business case for capital projects


Finance (non-core) 25%

Perform monthly accruals, journal entries when applicable (accounting)
Partner with the controllers function to provide analysis for audit or tax related inquires
Work with Supply Chain to understand purchase price variances (PPV)
Provide analysis and insight on operational or non-financial items when appropriate for the site leadership team
Perform site specific duties as part of the leadership team
Business/financial support to site manager & functional leads
Maintains a business partnership relationship with Global Manufactruing & leadership
Validate savings initiatives for the site when applicable
SHES interaction, including regular safety meeting, compliance and initiatives

What you will bring

Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or Business discipline Advance English skills Professional designation CA, CMA, or CPA desired, not required Financial Planning experience Experience in a large, global business Experience in SAP, 4S desirable Leadership experience 5-7 years expereience Understanding of manufacturing & operational processes/techniques
