As a Piping Designer, you will be responsible for the design and drafting of complex piping systems and their supporting structures in accordance with established industry standards and guidelines. You will collaborate with the Engineering Team and other disciplines to ensure designs meet project specifications, requirements, and codes.
Responsibilities- Develop design concepts for all aspects of piping systems, including fluid dynamics, stress analysis, and process flow.
- Prepare piping designs, pipe rack, hot small-bore piping, hot large bore piping and critical systems, incluidin layout, design sketches, isometrics, general arrangement (plot plan) piping arrangement.
- Collaborate with other designers and engineering disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure that designs meet project requirements, specifications, and codes.
- Produce complex piping drawings using AutoCAD and Smart Plant 3D.
- Utilizes industry standars (ASME, API, ANSI).
- Participate in project and team meetings to review progress and resolve design-related issues.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Piping Designer in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Smart Plant 3D.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- English upper intermediate B2.
