Implement Design, Integration, Installation & Testing of Data Acquisition Systems and Control on Utility Scale PV and Energy Storage Power Plants

What You Will Do

Implement Design, Integration, Installation & Testing of Data Acquisition Systems and Control on Utility Scale PV and Energy Storage Power Plants Manage Integration coordination with vendors from Substation Equipment, Energy Storage, PV Tracker, Inverter Manufacturers, and Meteorological Stations Create ladder-logic, three-lines, and protection & control diagrams for manufacturing and construction Create and manage project schedule working closely with various Engineering and Project Delivery Teams Site visits to ensure correct coordination and installation with vendors and subcontractors Manage SCADA Integration from a visualization, alarming, and historization perspective Understanding and review of project contracts and ability to determine and author the appropriate scope of work for projects, I&C Systems, and networks Network integration including but not limited to fiber design, network schemes, block diagrams

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor or higher degree in electrical, electronic, or related engineering with professional registration (Cedula Profesional - SEP) in Mexico. Experience of I&C Design and/or Integration and Project Management Knowledge of PLC’s, RTAC, and other industry standard process controllers and data aggregators Knowledge of substation protection and control strategies and wiring Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel, Outlook, & Word Scope of Work development Familiarity with power systems Troubleshooting experience of control loops, communications (Fiber, Ethernet, Radio) Field investigative and start-up experience Experience with Utility Scale Solar, Energy Storage, substation design, & SCADA & DAS Integrations Ability to travel to US during short periods (Valid passport and visa) Valid driving license Fluent in English oral and written communication.

Experience with Utility Scale Solar, Energy Storage, and Utility Substations Experience with SCADA & DAS Integrations with Inverters and Tracker in the PV Industry Experience with Power Plant Controllers Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience Substation & Plant Testing, Start-up and Commissioning PE Engineer registration (Canada or US).
