  • Analyze Capex Spend: Collaborate with local Capex buyers to analyze past, current, and future Capex spending aligned with group needs and sales plans.
  • Develop Capex Strategy: Create strategies for various Capex categories within the SMR Group, including supplier spending, regional allocation, technical specifications, and growth plans.
  • Deploy Category Strategies: Implement Capex category strategies across all six regions to ensure consistent execution.
  • Standardize Capex Processes: Maintain standardization of Capex processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Support Capex Buyer Development: Assist Capex buyers in sourcing capital manufacturing equipment for present and future projects using SAP ARIBA.
  • Optimize Supplier Relationships: Work towards fostering strong supplier relationships and achieving maximum total cost of ownership benefits for SMR Operational Plants.

Perfil del candidato

The ideal candidate for the position of Global Commodity Jr Buyer - Capex should possess 2-3 years of procurement develop, preferably in Capex or manufacturing equipment purchasing, with a solid technical understanding of equipment specifications. They should demonstrate strong analytical skills for market and financial data, effective communication abilities for stakeholder engagement and supplier negotiations, and a track record of achieving procurement objectives, including significant cost savings. Adaptability to diverse global environments, proficiency in procurement tools like SAP ARIBA, and a relevant educational background in business, engineering, or management are also preferred qualifications.
