  1. Financial Management:
    • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the manufacturing plant.
    • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.


  2. Accounting:
    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
    • Lead the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.


  3. International Trade:
    • Oversee and optimize international trade transactions, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline import/export processes and minimize associated costs.
    • Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations and adapt strategies accordingly.


  4. Taxes:
    • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liability.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with external tax advisor to optimize tax planning and reporting.


  5. Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
    • Provide insights into cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements.
    • Prepare financial reports for senior management as needed.
Be part of the success of an international manufacturing company|By leading the Finance department of one of their Mexico's sites.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial leadership role in a manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, international trade, and taxation.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office applications.
