Manage and coordinate all activities related to the import and export of goods, ensuring compliance with international, national, and company regulations. Collaborate with customs brokers, carriers, and other logistics service providers to ensure efficient and seamless operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Customs Dispatch Management and Administration:
    • Provide all necessary information to customs brokers for proper dispatch of goods.
    • Supervise and coordinate the customs process to ensure compliance with established deadlines.
  • Tariff Classification for the Steel Sector:
    • Perform tariff classification of steel sector products according to current regulations.
    • Stay updated on changes in tariffs and regulatory frameworks.
  • Incoterms Expertise:
    • Correctly apply Incoterms in import and export transactions.
    • Advise internal teams and clients on the proper use of Incoterms.
  • Technical Knowledge of Import/Export and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with international import and export regulations.
    • Stay updated on best practices and changes in compliance regulations.
  • Transport Regulations:
    • Manage compliance with transport regulations in various modes.
    • Coordinate with transport providers to ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in Transportation and Logistics Management Systems:
    • Utilize and manage transportation and logistics management systems to optimize operations.
    • Analyze and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency.
  • Integral Management of the Customs Process:
    • It is MEGA IMPORTANT to be responsible for the entire process from the execution of purchase orders to the arrival of the product, ensuring compliance with all relevant customs regulations.
  • Professional Experience:
    • More than 2-3 years of experience in global companies or 3 years of experience in similar roles within a company.
    • Experience managing import and export operations in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of SAT and Ministry of Economy Regulations:
    • Ensure compliance with SAT and Ministry of Economy regulations.
    • Maintain an effective relationship with regulatory authorities.
  • Contract Management with Carriers:
    • Negotiate and manage contracts with carriers to ensure competitive rates and quality service.
    • Monitor carrier performance and resolve any incidents.
