Our Global Technology Americas team is looking for an IT Network Coordinator to make us even stronger

About the role:

We are looking for a qualified professional for the position of Network and Security Coordinator with proven experience in coordination, solid experience in 24/7 operations and implementations of various projects, especially in financial companies and mission-critical environments.

Main Responsabilities/role:

Supervise and lead a team of professionals based in Mexico, with regional coverage.

Conduct and supervise the operation 24/7, ensuring the correct performance of the team in incidents, acting as a focal and escalation point for critical incidents.

Ensure the stability, security and efficiency of the network infrastructure, opening preventive or corrective maintenance tickets for network devices, links, interacting with different vendors and suppliers.

Ensure adequate maintenance and updating of technical documentation (topologies, inventory, backups and monitoring.)

Conduct and supervise the implementation of network and security projects, control and carry out detailed planning of execution hours, distributing projects among team members.

Implement and ensure adherence to best practices in networks in conjunction with corporate standards are applied, aiming for operational efficiency and information security.

Provide management reports and implement efficient controls for the organization of the area.

Active contribution on technology adoption and innovation.

Experience Needed:

Bachelor´s Degree

Advanced English

+4 years in network coordination or similar position.

+10 years of experience implementing and supporting Checkpoint, F5, Cisco and Fortigate solutions and technologies such as Firewalls, IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), WAF, (Web Application Firewall), Load Balancers, Network Switches, Routers, Wifi (access Points and Controllers), VPN (SSL/IPSEC), SDWAN, BGP and OSPF.

Advanced Knowledge and understanding of Cloud Azure and AWS.

CCNP, CCSE, AWS and Azure certifications are a plus.

Experience in ITIL, Service Management Processes.

Experience in Jira and Confluence or similar ITSM tools.

Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Solarwinds and Zabbix.
