Position Summary:

AME Manufacturing Business Unit Manager has dual role in both the Pilot and Service Operations. For Services, serves as responsible of operations and lead of the legacy parts transferences as well as securing compliance of all Operative KPIs. For Pilot, serves as lead of the Scheduling and Planning team securing the execution of the ED/DV builds needed for NA. For both operations is responsible to coordinate and lead the multi-disciplinary team into securing the Customer needs, participate in problem solving, change management and implementation of production improvements. This position is responsible to assure that customer requirements be in compliance and accordingly implemented for service parts.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

AME Customer Analyst & Scheduler Leader AME Sr. Pilot Factory Projects Planner As a part of the supervisory responsibilities, if there is not an employee to attend the process, the direct boss will have to attend the process or assign the activities to another employee with equal qualifications).

Job Responsibilities:

Supports recurring meetings, both internal and external, to track the progress of the project(s) Comply with quality systems and environmental management implemented in the company Elaborate and review strategies to meet expectations of customers Represent the needs of the customer in internal functions according to the requirements of the Quality System and Customer Specific Requirements and deploy them with the Core Team Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through established communication channels Lead activities for customer visits and audits, as well as meeting the targets established in the customer score cards. Maintains the status of the project from EOP to EOL according to internal procedures Coordinate all changes to the process with Engineering areas for Service Parts along with the implementation. Coordinates all changes to the product with Program Managers and the implementation Comply with the review of the status of PLM / TOW Identify and record changes with the product, process in part history Foster positive environment and ensure development to create high-performance MBU team Work closely with CBU and customer to provide solid data for business planning and long-term capacity planning Inter-company manufacturing line and product transference coordination and management Coordinate the generation and release of all appropriate documentation: PFMEA, CP, PPAP, TOW, Flow charts, VJIs, etc. Establish project Budget and CAPEX application for Service TOW Monitor the creation of Purchase Requests for all equipment necessary for the project with Process & Test Engineering forTOW Drive project risk management, escalate to proper CPM or management team on time if potential risks and propose alternatives Supervising demand accuracy and fluctuation to identify action plan to mitigate supply and cost risks. Drive the definition and execution of corrective actions derived from Delivery KPI reviews for both Service and Pilot Link between Pilot Factory and CPM team. Serve as escalation point and facilitate communication among both parties Supervise and support as needed on the execution of ED / DV samples scheduled at the QRO Pilot

Customer OEM specific requirements Knowledge +5 years of prior experience in industrial product manufacturing environment +5 years of prior experience coordinating new projects and managing engineering and process changes +3 years of prior experience implementing Continuous Improvement and excellence Methods. English 90%, Advance English level (reading and writing that allow fluid presentations / business level negotiation conversations)
