Over the last five years, Diageo Mexico has achieved significant double-digit growth in sales and increased share of market through outstanding brand building, elite Commercial partnerships and brilliant execution in a wide range of categories: Whisky, Single Malts, Rum, Tequila, Vodka, Gin, Mezcal, Liquor, Beer and RTD; contending in different market segments: Emerging Middle Class, Premium and Luxury.

To achieve this, Customer Marketing plays an instrumental role in laying down a winning strategy and putting strong plans in place that ensure we have the right brand, in the right place and at the right price for shoppers to buy and consumers to enjoy, thus fulfilling Customer Marketing’s purpose of igniting the power of our brands in the trade.
We have expanded our portfolio and improved our execution at the moment of choice by nailing our 365 essentials and creating amazing brand experiences in restaurants, bars and nightclubs all across the country. However, recent business growth couldn’t have come without building strong partnerships with our customers and being ruthless in execution. So today more than ever before we need to step up our game strengthening our Commercial partnerships, unlocking scale and delivering brilliant execution at the moment of choice in line with our new Diageo Way of elite Selling.
Market Complexity
In Mexico, volume and value sales of spirits have been on the rise and so has Diageo’s share in the Off and On Trade channels. However, as the market expands our competition has become smarter and stronger, whilst more and more players continue to pop up crafting a more challenging competitive landscape.
As the On Trade channel continues to grow, customers become more sophisticated and thus require us to deliver a higher level of strategic involvement and brilliant execution in order to continue growing our brands and categories in partnership with them.
It’s our responsibility as market leaders to continue developing the On Trade and our customers through a more specialized understanding of the channel in order to deliver our Diageo extraordinary Sales dynamic growth model: Net Revenue Management, Commercial Planning, Every Day Great Execution and Performance Management.
In addition, off trade is a critical showcase for our portfolio to delight shoppers&consumers in key occasions across relevant segments behind reach and execution
Purpose of Role
To lead the projects about Salesforce internally called EDGE & TRAX image recognition tool products between local market – global sales -global product owners. EDGE is a commercial platform to boost instore performance handling all execution critical opportunities.
Knows the product vision , knows why we need to build and what problem to solve for who.
Financial Accountability
Key Functional Responsibilities
Must be able to communicate different messages to different partners about their product and project Helps partners to get the IT solutions that we need Readily available to answer questions and prioritize work from the delivery team Know the On & OFF Trade Strategy in line with our performance ambition and external environment This role is the sole person responsible for handling the Product Backlog (work items list) and improving the value of the product resulting from work of the Product Oriented Delivery (POD) . May need to collaborate with various partners (users, SMEs, etc.) Handle Salesforce and Trax customer and product databases as data asset owner. Coordinate data updates and cleansing activities across On – Trade, Off Trade, and BAU teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.Key Leadership Responsibilities
Become a strategic partner with solid relationships with the EDGE users, D&T, Admin managers. Lead key partners in On & OFF trade, CP&A On Trade and global contacts Engaged & Empowered Leader Able to make decisions conciselyQualifications & Experience Required
Degree in Business or Engineering Excellent written and verbal communication skills English /Spanish proficiency and Microsoft Office +5 years of experience in Sales, Administration, IS, Analysis Roles. Ability to move between strategy and execution Able to mobilize the business around a clear goal and engage key partners at all levels Global teams and cross-functional leadership skills A driven self-starter, passionate about winning and implementing admirably
