At Vibo Capital, we're seeking an experienced data engineer to join our team. As a SQL Data Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, building efficient data systems, and aligning them with our business goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in programming languages such as Java and Python, and hands-on experience with SQL database design. If you're detail-oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a proven track record in the field, we're excited to hear from you.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and organize raw data to extract meaningful insights.

  • Build and maintain data systems and pipelines to ensure efficient data flow.

  • Evaluate business needs and objectives to align data systems accordingly.

  • Interpret trends and patterns within data sets to inform decision-making processes.

  • Conduct complex data analysis and generate comprehensive reports on results.

  • Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to drive business strategies.

  • Build algorithms and prototypes to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.

  • Combine raw information from various sources to enrich data sets.

  • Explore methods to enhance data quality and reliability for improved decision-making.

  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition to support business objectives.

  • Develop analytical tools and programs to streamline data processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-5 years of previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

  • Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python.

  • SQL Database Design: Hands-on experience with SQL database design is essential.

  • Analytical Skills: Great numerical and analytical skills to interpret complex data sets.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

  • English C1+ proficiency required.

Compensation:

  • $3,000-3,500 monthly based on experience
