Objective of the position

Packaging planner main responsibility is to ensure a standardized containerization throughout DRÄXLMAIER supply chain by applying global standards and packaging industry best practices.Communicate and adapt external requirements from customer and suppliers to DRÄXLMAIER standards.Support DRÄXLMAIER plants by developing packaging concepts.

Principal activities

• Design packaging concepts according to DRÄXLMAIER global standards
• Create and monitor project packaging budget within industrialization phase
• Responsible to lead packaging activities during project phase (budget, reporting, industrialization, coordination, and implementation)
• Coordinates packaging validations on project phase
• Technical interface with customers and sub supplier for packaging topics
• Maintain a standardized packaging operation
• Coordinate validations with stakeholders
• Technically report to FPL-L for project industrializations or acquisitions
• Follow up standard information and process management to ensure a smooth handover from industrialization to series phase
• All activities will be provided for interior, electric, and HC segments
• Creations of Packaging Data Sheet, support on following steps that use this document
• Participate in root cause analysis meetings
• Provide information to evaluate changes that require revision on the packaging concept
• Actively participate in cost savings activities and optimizations

Requirements:

Professional career: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Industrial design.

Relevant experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in Packaging Engineering, SCM and logistics operations, 2 years of experience in Change management, Project Management.

Technical knowledge: Statistical Tools, Packaging Design, Risk Analysis, Customer Specific Requirements, Tools for problem solving, Change Management, Project Management, Design Software (AUTOCAD, CATIA), Norm IATF 16949 Standard, Product Safety, SAP, Availability to Minimum Travel and Advanced English level.
