ManufacturingEngineer (Entry level)

Essential Job Functions

Directinterface with Product Engineers and ME Engineers to develop our electricalproducts designs with a Design for Manufacturing focus. DevelopAssembly / Manufacturing processes based on manufacturing best practices. EnsureMetal stamping processes support the production operator for ergonomics,efficiency, and quality. Developsystem layouts (factory flow). Focuson lean systems and methods for manufacturing – value added operations,minimizing waste, short production systems, small lot material strategies, witha focus on the operator safety. Developcommon documentation of manufacturing requirements and help create standardtool libraries. Developtiming schedules to support on-time production launch. Developproper error proofing (poka yoke) systems with focus on design before processsolutions. Performall necessary PFMEA’s and required control plans based on known DFMEA andProcess definitions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’sdegree in engineering – Industrial, Mechanical, metallurgy or Electrical +1year of related work experience; primarily in metal Stamping area Mustbe self-motivated, with a desire to continuously improve, learn and providecreative solutions. Demonstratean ability to manage complex projects with tight timing constraints, providingexamples of such scenarios throughout one’s career. Effectiveproblem solver with knowledge and experience utilizing structuredproblem-solving methodology and experience introducing new products. Exceptionalorganizational ability with good follow up skills and attention to detail is amust. Staticsbasic knowledge. Fullybilingual.
