Job Responsibilities
Deploy the human resources assigned to the Quality department to achieve maximum performance while producing Quality product with a minimum cost. Manage the material resources for an efficient control system. Monitor the implementation of new processes or products with system adjustments. Assure that the disposition of materials identified as discrepant in the manufacturing or inspection systems is correct. Promote Quality awareness in all company employees. Assure that the systems conform to the divisional policies and directives. Provide containment, corrective and preventive actions to Customers when discrepancies are reported or products are returned, following the D Methodology Request effective containment, corrective and preventive actions on-time from Suppliers when necessary, following the D Methodology. Maintain the plant’s Quality Management Systems approved by the certification and safety agencies, such as AGA, CGA, UL, CSA, etc. Coordinate the recovery of costs associated with reworking or sorting supplier defective material. Maintain a communication line with our customers to achieve their satisfaction. Implement statistical techniques for problem solving efforts. Implement a Total Quality Management Plan throughout the company. Stimulate the employee’s team’s participation in the continuous improvement effort. Maintain the integrity of the Quality Management systems to the registrar (ISO).Responsibilities:
Plans and Triggers on time PPAP initiation in coordination with CommodityManager and Product engineering groups Supports with PPAP activities for the timely implementation of ECN’s. Sends and follows up PPAP activities with suppliers, by providing training when required to the supply base, and promoting on time delivery on PPAs under his controls. Evaluate risks and take assertive decisions for Deviations related to PPAS with suppliers. Requests and coordinates with the manufacturing and distribution sites FPL inspections and pilot Runs in supports of Components PPAPS / ECNS/ DRs. Supports escalation from the manufacturing and distribution sites for Supplier Quality problems. Plans and executes a Supplier Audits schedule. Evaluates supplier Performance and establishes, follow up and improvement supplier quality improvement plants. Accountable for Overall supplier performance Implements strategic improvements programs with suppliers, such as but not limited to Full risk assessment.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial, electronics, electromechanical, mechanical or related engineering. discipline Good written and verbal communication in English and Spanish languages. Years experience in quality, and desirable one of them in Supplier Quality Understanding of Engineering drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic) Understanding and application of ISO standards. PPAPs background knowledge Understanding of basic Statistics and Minitab. Tools for qualityCompetence in MS office applications.
