Your day to day
Listed below are some of the key responsibilities our Integration Engineers take in their day to day. However, we work in an Agile environment, making this a superb opportunity for you to carve this role for yourself:
Responsible for building automation solutions and services based on business and operational requirements, and automation industry best practices in a timely manner Responsible for conducting data analysis, automation feasibility assessment, operational flows mapping to develop automation solutions which are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable Responsible for finalizing BOM for H/W and S/W order; wherever applicable Contribute to technical project management including but not limited to solution design reviews, execution plan, scope, commercials, contractual deliverables – which may involve multiple business units/suppliers Support project deployment activities including but not limited to site readiness report preparation, preparing technical requirements documents for Industrial Infra for Wireless, Network, Compute and Storage etc Support and lead automation testing ( FAT, IT, UAT, etc…) Liaise with Solution Architecture team to ensure seamless integration between WMS, WES, WCS, and other platforms and to ensure that all business logics are built, integrated, and deployed Identify continuous improvement opportunities (new use-cases) in existing warehouse facilities, in own area of expertise (terminal/warehouse) Responsible for coordinating with engineering teams and external parties (integrators and system suppliers) to ensure automation solution integration and project completion within targets Support suppliers and vendors in developing and providing all relevant documentation for reviews and approvals Liaise with internal stakeholders to monitor system performance, KPI management and coordination with external suppliers to correct deviations and meet contractual deliverables Support warehouses to implement pre-requisites (on-site and remotely both) Prepare documentation for presentation, review, and approval of the solution design (warehouses -specific) to local and global stakeholders (Architecture, Infrastructure, IT Security for example) and support throughout the approval process Develop warehouses - specific documentation for post go-live support and maintenanceWho are we are looking for

You have superb industrial automation industry experience coupled with experience in designing the processes leading to ensure that products and solutions meet quality standards for warehouses, logistics and distribution centres. You also have experience in working with cross functional teams with a successful record of building relationships at local & regional levelAlso you may have:
Experience in warehouse automation and solution deployment. Experience in product lifecycle implementation of OT/Automation architecture solutions and associated industry (IT/OT) industrial automation standards (ISA95, ISA99…) Experience in industrial process mapping, automation requirements for complex installations, integration of automated equipment, Execution Systems and Equipment Control Systems. Having work experience in Industrial Automation Software and Control – SCADA and basic PLC programming. Desirable to have familiarity in working with Python programming language, Java, C# and MySQL, Red hat Fuse and Linux admin and WINTEL (terminal automation) Experience in working in Industrial Environment is desirable Working experience in IPv4 Networking; wireless; enabling solutions like RFID, DGPS & Weighing Machines will be an added preference Experience in designing, building and integration of solutions which can be horizontally scalable, distributed, resilient, fault tolerant and monitored Expertise in modern logistics process, automation technology instrumentation and controls; operation data acquisition and safety systems; automation integration and automation control/execution systems Experienced in designing, pricing, and implementing warehouse automation solutions including automated sortation systems, PTLs, AGVs, AMRs, AS/RS systems amongst others (warehouse automation) Data analytics and problem-solving skills Experience with layout design platforms like AutoCad Good understanding of operation/functional KPI’s hereunder performance of equipment under circumstances of industrial environments The ability to continually identify solutions improvements and proactively work on the process and performance and act on stakeholder feedback. The ability to provide direction, support, and guidance for others hereunder mentor, code-review and contribute to product development Understanding automation industry trends and relevant innovations in solution delivery methods Excellent communication and cross-functional cooperation capabilities – a team player with positive Can-Do, result-oriented attitude. Experience with Information Security management - Maintain the data confidentiality & integrity and relevant compliance of information systems. English language proficiency is preferred.We Offer
