The UX Team for Construction Management software at Trimble is looking for a User Experience Designer 2 to join the UX design, strategy, and user research for a customer-facing Construction Accounting product There will also be opportunities to participate in a variety of other internal UX consulting projects for Construction Management as needed, and as the product and projects evolve. Our amazing UX team is a part of the larger Trimble Design Studio and the Horizontal Services group.

About the position

You will be joining the user experience design, strategy, and user research for a new highly strategic user-facing application that will help construction professionals manage their company’s accounting and financials. This could include new product design, or design work on existing applications, across desktop, web, and mobile platforms. In this role you will be working with the UX lead, and will be expected to have day-to-day hands-on involvement in all aspects of design. You will be responsible for the delivery of design documentation for your team to development teams. You will be working with a dynamic team of product managers, developers, and other UX Designers. 

What we are looking for:

3-5 years of experience in the User Experience Design field

Familiar with conducting research and leveraging data to inform design strategy & direction

Strong background in human-centered design, and experience with user experience design process tools and best practices

A passion in designing for professional users, a familiarity of workflow analysis and customer journey analysis

Skilled in interaction design, prototyping and comfortable working with new technologies 

Experience working with cross-functional teams

A willingness and interest in working on a team an obtaining design feedback from other UX Designers

An undergraduate or Masters degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or equivalent

Experience with design tools: Figma, Miro, Maze, etc.
