Metal Purchasing Buyer

Objective

Propose & manage purchasing performance data analytics to support enabling purchasing strategy and objectives.

Main Responsibilities

Schedule appointments for material arrivals Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials-Coordinate with production and logistics teams to align material delivery with production plans. Monitor critical material inventory levels. Purchase order creation and pipeline administration. Deal sheet administration. Monthly consolidation Upload savings initiatives to Workfront monthly. Support requirement information from other areas (Finance, MP&L, Planning etc.) Collaborate with the different regional aluminum teams on administrative activities.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience 1-3 years as purchasing, finance or related areas. Software: SAP, MS Excel, and Power Point, Tableu, Power apps, Ariba. Skills: project administration, negotiation, assertive communication, customer oriented. English advance required.
