Main responsibilities:
The job of the Production Supervisor is to manage the production performance, personnel matters and Safety, Hygiene and Environmental (HSE) standards of various Autonomous Production Groups (GAPs).
The main objectives of this profile are:
Conduct the Quality, Cost and Shipment (QCD) Performance of the groups under his/her charge:
Lead QCD initiatives: set goals, implement plans, track daily results, make appropriate adjustments to resource planning in order to get desired results. Promote improvement actions: communicate with the head of the Autonomous Production Unit, Production Supervisors from other shifts and other supervisory colleagues in order to ensure a transparent flow of information, collaborate to define areas for improvement and specify action plans. Manage team performance: know team issues, establish areas for performance improvement with team members, lead work teams, take care of problem solving groups, conduct workshops on quality improvement methods (5S, TPM, 6M). Manage the personnel issues of the teams under your charge: Ensure the day-to-day management of the team: ensure that there is the right number of personnel, ensure respect for standardized working methods, ensure their presence on the production floor to answer questions and focus on problems. Develop the team: ensure that the right staff resources are hired, integrate new team members, encourage professional development plans, advise and arrange for appropriate training, ensure timely job evaluations, etc.Ensure that working conditions are fully compliant with the group's HSE standards: interfere with the production line if there are safety risks, and drive improvements in working and ergonomic conditions
