Senior Scada Engineer (México, Remote)

YOUR ROLE
 

  • Work with cross functional teams to gather and understand requirements. Develop, evaluate, and test new SCADA applications and interfaces for oil field applications.
  • Responsible for manual and automation testing for SCADA system in real time environment.
  • User role configuration in SCADA Wonderware applications
  • SCADA Wonderware account management
  • Identify and report issues within SCADA applications. Track and closure incident tickets along with development teams
  • Support existing applications and participate in new field deployments along with onsite automation teams.
  • Work with divisional SCADA teams to integrate on field devices into corporate SCADA systems for alarming, historian/trends and HMI display.

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Good conversational English (B2, C1, C2)
  • 6+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor / Master of electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or similar
  • Experience developing/working with industrial instrumentation HMI´s. Using Wonderware preferred
  • Experience working with communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, internet IP, OPC, OPCUA, MQTT) or experience using protocol management (Aveva desired).
  • Experience setting up, configuring and stablishing communications with RTU´s (Emerson FB3000 and ROC800).
  • Experience testing SCADA applications (Wonderware, Oasys desired) on servers and cloud environment.
  • Programing / Scripting experience using Python, JavaScript, SQL.
  • Experience with SQL server management and connection with SCADA applications
  • Experience working with in development environment, working independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Experience using SCADA platforms such as Wonderware / Oasys
  • Experience working in oil and gas field operations.
