PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Entry of daily journal entries, collections, and payments in the 3 entities in LATAM. Entry of accruals, depreciation, and amortization. Bank reconciliations and accounting accounts. Scheduling of accounts payable and review of travel expenses. Determinate federal taxes such as Income Tax, VAT Tax, and taxes on payroll and Social Security. Supporting Project Accountants with budget maintenance. Researching sales tax information and coordinating sales tax audits, as needed. Reconciling corporate AmEx purchases. Responsible for monthly account reconciliations for intercompany transactions. Other projects/assignments as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*:

Strong comprehension of accounting theory Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently Ability to work effectively in a high growth environment and rapidly changing organization Detail orientation and organized in work Ability to meet assigned deadlines Ability to perform essential functions of the job Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills Fluent in Spanish and possesses intermediate English language skills
