Thomson Reuters is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for building and supporting AWS infrastructure used to host an ONESOURCE Suite of Tax and Accounting solutions. 

About the Role:

Develop and Deliver:  Apply modern DevOps Engineering practices; you will be involved in the entire Development, Operational support, Monitoring, Automation, Building, Testing and Delivering high-quality solutions for the DevOps team Be a Team Player:  Working in a collaborative team-oriented environment, you will share information, value diverse ideas, partner with cross-functional and remote teams Be an Agile Person: With a strong sense of urgency and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will deliver solutions against strict timelines Be Innovative:  You are empowered to try new approaches and learn new technologies. About You:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with extensive hands-on experience working with AWS Cloud services. Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and AWS Code Pipelines. Demonstrated proficiency in automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native application development and deployment. Strong scripting language skills in at least one language (Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, etc.). Familiarity with SQL, Windows, and Linux servers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities, improving overall efficiency and reliability. Proactively monitor all services using DataDog APM, RUM, etc., to ensure their availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency. Build and deploy .NET, .NET Core, and Java-based solutions on AWS, leveraging containerization technologies like AWS ECS on Fargate.  Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS). Continuously monitor and optimize AWS services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, security, and compliance with best practices.
