Senior Accountant

**WHAT IS YOUR ROLE**:This role is client-facing with numerous opportunities to grow within the firm as well as provide meaningful insights and value to our clients. The position is a hybrid of accounting, finance, and tax.**WHAT WILL YOU DO**:- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and adherence to relevant accounting standards.- Work on multiple client accounts simultaneously, manage client expectations, and interact with clients directly to get needed information.- Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.- Ensure proper coding and classification of transactions.- Monitor key financial metrics and provide variance analysis.- Continuously evaluate and streamline accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.- Identify opportunities for automation and implement best practices.- Update management reporting schedules around key financial metrics.- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals as needed.- Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.**Requirements**:**WHAT WE’LL LIKE ABOUT YOU**:YOU HAVE- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA equivalent certification required- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and other accounting principles and standards- Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting tools- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and meet deadlines- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others at all levels of the organization- Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a team- Fluent in English**Benefits**- Law Benefits- Private Health Insurance- Paid Time Off- Training- Life insurance- Mental Health Support- Learning and Development Programs
