Steer by Mechanic Advisor offers a suite of software tools for today's automotive repair shop. We combine a mix of software tools that a repair shop needs to run a highly profitable shop, in one user-friendly, cost-effective platform. Through the Steer CRM suite, we allow the shop owner to get back to focusing on what matters, and to stop worrying about marketing and customer retention.**You Will**:- Develop and deploy CI/CD automation infrastructure using Github Actions, Flux**You have**:- Must have_- 7+ years of Platform Engineering/DevOps/System administration- 4+ years extensive demonstrable Kubernetes experience: designing, deploying and operating complex production environments using advanced cloud native tools- 5+ years public cloud experience: AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure- 4+ years extensive Terraform experience, including managing large infrastructures, writing modules, refactoring manifests- 3+ years programming experience in a modern programming language: Go (preferred), Python, plus shell scripting proficiency Worked with mission-critical, 24/7 production environments-- Nice to have_- Extensive CI/CD knowledge, implementing software build and deployment pipelines, advanced deployment patterns- GitOps experience (FluxCD, ArgoCD)- Hands-on experience with some/all of MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgres, Vault, service meshes, API gateways, etc.- Hands-on monitoring experience with modern tools and services, e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, DataDog, NewRelic- Good understanding of distributed systems- Agile software development methodologies experience**Who we are**:Steer offers a suite of software tools for today's automotive repair shop.
