Industrial Engineer Objective Oversee and work on the optimization of human resources, time and waste. General Description 1. Perform Industrial Engineering tasks and analyses designed to improve the efficiency of plant operations 2. Create Group Technology Matrix for all Product Families 3. Define Mix Model line based on process similarity and demand 4. Make cycle time analysis. 5. Implement the new balancing. 6. Improve the VS efficiency 7. Workstations are designed to meet Lean requirements including continuous flow, material replenishment based on POUS, operator's ergonomic criteria, access to equipment for maintenance, operator communication and flexibility for Mix Model. 8. Update the Plant layout and optimize the space and resources. 9. Coordinate the plant movements. 10. Review the new products and change the routing product in Oracle. 11. Work with Lean manufacturing philosophy to improve SQDC metrics. 12. Work with 5's program. 13. Personal management 14. Training and results performance of Industrial Technician. Additional information Balancing lines Experience AutoCAD knowledge Oracle system knowledge. Routings knowledge Supermarket Knowledge Requirements Bachelor Degree Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Bilingual BA in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or process improvement engineering or similar field. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and flow control and power systems. Experience with Autocad Experience in automotive industry (a plus) Continuous improvement and lean tool experience. Proficient with MS Office. Primary focus of this position Lead the organization to better, faster, stronger by identifying, developing and implementing process improvements and standard work procedures in all areas of the facility. Industrial Engineer: Performs and evaluates work measurement and workflow analysis for the establishment of standards and the utilization of production facilities. Develops plant and equipment layout, capacity plans, workflow and accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities. Provides product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices. Evaluates new techniques and technological developments for inclusion in the production process.
