We are seeking a proactive and creative **Junior UX Designer **to join our dynamic team at EPAM. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in UX/UI design to grow and develop their skills. As part of the onboarding process, you will first participate in an 8 to 10-week training program designed to enhance your skills and provide you with the foundational knowledge required to excel in this role.After completing the training, you will collaborate with experienced designers and cross-functional teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Your work will contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services.Who can join the program?The X-Stack Program is designed for juniors’ developers who have a strong foundational understanding of programming concepts and skills and some experience in a programming language of choice. This program is open for everyone in the country, you can collaborate remotely and from our delivery centers in Mexico.Upon completionGraduates will be well-prepared for success in the competitive full-stack development.Program duration is about 2-5 months, depends on technical interview results.RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in the creation of wireframes, sketches, user flows, and prototypes to visualize and communicate user interactions- Support user research activities, including planning, note-taking, and analyzing research findings- Collaborate closely with Experience Strategy Designers, Researchers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enhance product usability and overall user experience- Work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, QA, architects, and product managers, to identify and solve UX challenges- Contribute to the delivery of high-value user experiences by supporting the design and development process**REQUIREMENTS**:- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow within the field of UX/UI design- Proficiency in design tools, particularly Sketch (knowledge of other design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision is a plus)- Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field- Basic understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and usability testing- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbalWE OFFER- The industry best training program X-Stack- Upon successful competition the opportunity to become a full time EPAMer- Receive coaching and mentoring from the industry finest- Work in a remote work / hybrid fashion- Experience exchange with colleagues all around the world- Competitive compensation depending on experience and skills- Free English classes with native speakers (certified English teachers)- Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions- Support for employee’s initiatives (Algorithms club, toastmasters, agile club and more- Hired directly by EPAM & 100% under payroll- Law benefits (IMSS, INFONAVIT, 25% vacation bonus)- Major medical expenses insurance: Life, Major medical expenses with dental & visual coverage (for the employee and direct family members)- 13 % employee savings fund, capped to the law limit- Grocery coupons- Employee Stock Purchase Plan- 12 vacations days plus 4 floating days- Official Mexican holidays, plus 5 extra holidays (Maundry Thursday and Friday, November 2nd, December 24th & 31st)
