**Job Details****What you will do**This role requires strong relationship with business to clearly understand the overall business objectives, technical as well as functional process requirements. You will be responsible for translating the business objectives into an actionable IT roadmap, aligning with architecture, vendors and other relevant stakeholders.**How you will do it**- Administer all IT systems and recommend efficient modifications to systems to improve efficiency and reduce cost of all operations- Collaborate with Technical Engineering to run and operate approved hardware and software components for network/communications, servers, and storage- Collaborate with IT architecture team to perform risk assessment on projects- Provide advanced technical expertise and resolve high priority issues crossing technology domains- Perform break-fix, diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for all incidents and service requested (L1-L2)- Liaise with vendors and service delivery teams (e.g., Service Desk, GIS, EA, EI) to investigate and resolve incidents and problems (L1-L3)- Assess system data and error logs, along with user reports, to determine areas for improvement or repair- Follow up with customers to confirm problem resolution and solicit feedback on system usage- Develop and implement standardized methods and procedures for efficient and prompt response, analysis, documentation, ongoing management, and reporting of incidents and problems- Maintain technical change management policies, processes, and standards- Maintain Weekly, Monthly interaction with Internal stakeholders- Assure SOX compliance of the supported systems working closely as well with the Business Partners as with Internal audit- Supports projects to implement new or replace existing IT infrastructure components such as server hardware, database systems or middleware and web server components.- Establishes and supports effective system monitoring processes to assure system availability and performance.**What we look for**- Proven ability to quickly build up working knowledge in previously unknown technologies.- Proven ability to work effectively in a complex, matrix organization within a multi-national company.- Advanced skills with DBMS systems such as Oracle and operating systems (Windows mandatory, Linux knowledge a plus).- Working knowledge of commonly used scripting languages (Korn-Shell, Powershell).- Working knowledge of SQL mandatory, performance analysis skills a plus.- Working knowledge of 3-tier architecture.- Must be fluent in English, other languages a plus.
