This wide range of services, which includes new developments, patented products, as well as high-quality and cost-effective variants for the modernization sector, is made possible thanks to our employees through their dedicated commitment at various locations and in different roles.**What will your day be like at ACPS Automotive Qro as a Metrologist?****Position Authority**:- Make technical decisions regarding measurements and releases.- Organize and prioritize laboratory resources.- Approve or halt activities related to the reliability of results.**Position Responsibility**:- Coordinate and ensure the correct functioning of the Metrology, Cut & Etch, and Paint laboratories, guaranteeing the reliability of measurements, tests, and results based on international standards, customer requirements, and automotive industry standards.- Lead a technical team that supports quality decision-making and contributes to the continuous improvement of production processes.- Ensure compliance with calibrations and verifications on time.- Coordinate the activities of the Metrology, Cut & Etch, and Paint laboratories, ensuring precision, reliability, and compliance with standards.- Guarantee the calibration, verification, and maintenance of measurement equipment.- Supervise and validate dimensional measurements, metallographic analyses (cut & etch), and paint tests according to customer specifications and regulations.- Manage and control the traceability of results and the release of laboratory reports.- Coordinate the validation and maintenance of checking fixtures, ensuring their reliability for product control.- Implement and follow up on MSA (Measurement System Analysis) studies.- Train and develop the technical staff of the laboratory.- Support internal, external, and customer audits.- Assist in resolving technical problems using structured methodologies.- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and specific customer requirements (CSR).**Technical Skills**:**Position Technical Competence**:- Solid knowledge in GD&T (ASME Y14.5 / ISO GPS).- Knowledge in checking fixtures: validation, maintenance, and use in production.- Proficiency in measurement software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, PolyWorks, or similar).- Interpretation of technical drawings and specifications.- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).- Experience in MSA (Gage R&R, linearity, bias, stability).**Admission Profile**:**Academic degree**:- Engineering in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related fields.**Knowledge in**:- Solid knowledge in GD&T (ASME Y14.5 / ISO GPS).- Mastery of SPC and process capability analysis (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk).- Experience in MSA (Gage R&R, linearity, bias, stability).- Knowledge in checking fixtures: validation, maintenance, and use in production.- Proficiency in measurement software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, PolyWorks, or similar).- Interpretation of technical drawings and specifications.- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).**Minimum experience**:- At least 5 years of experience in industrial metrology, with a minimum of 2 years in laboratory coordination or technical team management.**Desired experience**:- Experience in cut & etch processes and paint testing (adhesion, thickness, resistance, finish).**Inclusive and fair job opportunity**We value non-discrimination, reject child labor, and guarantee a 100% free selection process.
