Responsible for providing raw material and services required by the company to meet the production schedule ensuring compliance with quality, price and service.**Education and Experience**Industrial Engineer or related career.Minimum 2 years in similar position**Qualifications**Advanced level of EnglishOffice skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Verbal and written communication skillsMRP Systems (QAD preferred)**Responsibilities**:Placing and confirming raw material purchase orders on dates and quality requirements, this data must be reflected in the system.Maintain reliability of OPEN POs on dates and prices.Control and justification of PPV & Surcharges.Expediting material when required by customer demands.Part number control to establish lead time, approved supplier and cost for each part. (adhere to STD work that exists).Review inventory levels by supplier and part number.Development of blanket order, order point, JIT and stock schedules.Budget control of airfreight expenses.Must work on obsolete inventories to reduce them, either with material deviations and above all not to increase them by unnecessary purchases.ECO control for part number changes and manage alternates without duplicating requirements due to any of these changes.Attend meetings with key suppliers for continuous improvement.COVID-19 considerations:Hybrid position (optional to work from home two days a week)
