Tax Manager, Mexico Tax Planning Team

8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- Experience with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Essbase and Oracle Financial Applications- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department- Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies required- Fluent in both, English and SpanishKey job responsibilities- Management and coordination of Audits, Litigation and Tax Projects.- Ensuring Key Controls and Risk Management Processes are detailed and implemented, minimizing risk and exposure to penalties;- Overseeing the receipt; managing, tracking, of inquiries and communications to business teams and stakeholders.- Identifying and tracking new legislation, planning and policy trends.- Working with partner teams to conduct internal reviews and risk assessments.- Providing Mexico indirect tax planning inputs to both local and global projects.- Drafting tax technical memos and opinions.- Liaising with advisors and tax authorities on matters relating to Mexico tax planning.- Analyzing and supporting legislative changes for Mexico tax field that impact Amazon’s businesses;About the teamInclusive team cultureAt Amazon we embrace our differences and we are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion.
