This role requires a deep understanding of VMware Horizon technology and related virtualization and infrastructure components. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team of talented professionals with great work ethics and passion for innovative solutions.**This is a Part-Time, 100% remote contract role, with potential for a full-time role in the future**.**Responsibilities**- Design and architect VMware Horizon VDI solutions tailored to the organization's needs, considering factors like scalability, performance, and security.- Implement and configure VMware Horizon components, including Connection Servers, Composer Servers, and Security Servers.- Configure and optimize desktop images and templates for deployment.- Implement user profile management solutions to ensure consistency and flexibility for user profiles in a VDI environment.- Implement security measures, such as role-based access control, secure tunneling, and encryption, to protect VDI environments.- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.- Monitor VDI performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations for optimal user experience.- Implement resource management techniques to ensure efficient resource utilization.- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing VDI-related issues and ensuring a seamless user experience.- Create documentation and training materials for end-users and IT staff.- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for VDI environments to minimize downtime and data loss.- Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users on using VMware Horizon.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field would be preferred.- Industry certifications related to VMware Horizon and virtualization with at least 2 years of working experience would be highly desirable.- Proficiency in VMware Horizon components and architecture.- Strong knowledge of virtualization concepts and technologies.- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Active Directory.- Understanding of networking and security principles in the context of VDI.- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues within a VDI environment.- Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with cross-functional teams and providing support to end-users.- Experience managing VDI projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation.- The ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated with the latest developments in VDI and virtualization is important in this role.**Supplementary Data**All your information will be treated with utmost confidentiality in accordance with EEO standards.**What You Can Expect from Us**You will be working in an environment that exposes you to innovative technologies and architecture.
