What you will do?

You will lead the process for the procurement of 3rd party direct materials for JCI’s Chillers business unit. Align and implement commodity strategies with global commodity managers and procurement leaders to deliver the most cost-effective methods and in compliance for the team to procure from suppliers to execute the solutions we promise our stakeholders. A key deliverable of this role is to ensure sites are efficiently executing our category strategies to influence a greater percentage of spend to increase year on year savings and supplier performance management.

How you will do it?

  • Meet or exceed profit plan goals related to: Commodity strategies, cost savings, TWC, quality, supplier rationalization, and other agreed objectives.

  • Ensure alignment between category management team and the unique/specific needs of stakeholder and site buyers during category strategy development.

  • Implement category strategies and associated actions to achieve cost reduction goals, including PO-to-PO (Purchasing Order) reductions and rebates.

  • Control and improve the traceability and transparency of purchasing related savings, manage cost saving tracking and get proper approval on Wave platform.

  • Support efforts concerning supply base rationalization and supplier development.

  • Manage and can take lead negotiation projects.

  • Perform supplier spend analysis including spend patterns by category/ region and supplier. 8. Implement collaborative optimization strategy.

What we look for?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

  • Advanced English skills

  • At least 1-3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Candidate with business background (materials planning, logistics, operations) are also considered.

  • Good PC / software and project management knowledge/skills.
